Senate rejects Senator Remi Tinubu's bill seeking special FG grant for Lagos state
Members
of the senate today voted against a bill for an act to make provisions
for Federal Grants to Lagos State in recognition of its contributions to
the economic growth of Nigeria. The bill which is sponsored by the wife
of the National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu, suffered a set back as most
of the senators voted against it. Some of them even staged a walkout
while the bill was being debated.
